Fluid design

In my hometown Arnhem there's a new train station and I happened to pass by when this service desk caught my eye. It's totally elegant, open and friendly. The different types of services are colour-coded and the rings on the floor light up when the desk in front of it is in service. I love it! Now please, please make the trains run on time too :)

This escalator is for transporting your bags up or down the stairs. Seems handy to me but perhaps it's also another confirmation that we're becoming a lazy, ease-driven people.
